Indie Sleaze Is Back (And We’re Here For It)

Move over clean girl aesthetic - fashion’s messier, louder, more rebellious era is officially having a moment again. Indie Sleaze is back, and it’s not about perfection - it’s about personality.

Think chaotic cool. Studs, leather, sheer layers, slip dresses thrown together with moto boots and bed-head hair. The kind of outfits that look effortless but feel intentional. Less curated, more lived-in. Less polished, more attitude.

At Little Lies, this energy has always been part of who we are.

The Return Of Raw, Music-Led Style

Indie Sleaze was never about following rules. It was born from underground gigs, late nights, Tumblr feeds and messy playlists - a style movement shaped by music, art and individuality rather than trend cycles.

It was the return of ‘Rockstar’s girlfriend’ aesthetic. Think Kate Moss at Glastonbury; taking style inspiration from the groupies of the seventies in micro minis, knee high boots and smudged eyeliner.

That spirit runs through every Little Lies collection. From stud-embellished mini dresses and faux leather fringing to sheer animal-print shirts and statement silhouettes, our pieces are designed to be worn your way - layered, styled, reworked and lived in.

It’s about building a wardrobe that feels expressive, not perfect. Collected, not curated.

Worn By Women Who Dress For Themselves

We love seeing Little Lies worn by women who dress for real life - not algorithms. From Fearne Cotton and Laura Whitmore to Denise Van Outen and our own community of customers, stylists and creatives, the common thread is confidence and individuality. There’s no uniform. No rulebook. Just people owning their personal style.

Indie Sleaze Isn’t A Trend. It’s An Attitude.

For us, Indie Sleaze isn’t about recreating the past. It’s about embracing the mindset - dressing instinctively, mixing textures, breaking “fashion rules” and having fun with what you wear. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place. Welcome back to chaos. We missed it.
