JULY 17TH, 2025
Meet The Crew Behind The Clothes
This year marks a whole decade of Little Lies. Ten years of dreaming big, designing hard, and chasing every spark of inspiration that’s ever lit us up. From packing orders in a spare room to designing our own collections from our Scottish HQ, it’s been one hell of a ride, and we couldn’t have done it without the people behind the scenes.
So, as we celebrate turning ten, we figured it was the perfect time to reintroduce the small (but mighty) team keeping this crazy train running. The ones answering your DMs, designing the collections, and curating the stories that shape the brand.

NAME:

JOB TITLE:
Warehouse & Customer Service Supervisor

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU:
Wake up, do a downward dog with Elsa as we roll out of bed, JUGS OF COFFEE, lovely drive up to the landscape of Glencarse with a playlist to match the energy of the day, say good morning to the team then login and say hello to all our beautiful customers. Replying and resolving all customer queries, measuring samples and assisting in product development, organising inventory and stock with our fulfilment centre, meetings, coffee, emails, sending parcels, receiving parcels, treat for me, treat for Elsa... No 2 days look the same which is what makes the job so reactive and keeps things interesting!
WHAT'S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT WORKING WITH LITTLE LIES:
The Taylor Swift moment is pretty hard to beat! It was so unexpected and early on in 2024 that it was like a bolt of lightening struck the place. The vibe throughout the office, the buzz and excitement everyone felt was just INCREDIBLE! If Taylor ever sees this thank you darling!
IF YOU WERE A DRINK, WHAT WOULD YOU BE:
Long Island Iced Tea! Pretty much the whole damn party in one cup.
WHO'S YOUR STYLE ICON:
Anything Rhianna wears on her head, face, body, feet....I want it all! Zoe Kravitz of course for the rock chick vibes and Beyonce for my Diva moments. Oh I also loveeee Natasha Lyonne.... Sack it, women just rule- they're all icons!
WHO'S YOUR FAVE BAND/ARTIST:
Peeps I have on repeat, The Beatles, Nirvana, Blondie, Tina Turner, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Missy Elliot... I like to rock & bop.
WHAT'S A CUSTOMER COMMENT/REVIEW THAT'S ALWAYS STUCK WITH YOU:
When customers get in touch to say how the clothes have given them self confidence, changed their lives, changed their perspective on their own body image, created a space where they can fully be themselves. Those are the comments that stick, it makes this a whole lot more than just selling clothing. It's about connection, we're a family, not just as a team but with our devoted customers too.
WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU'RE MANIFESTING IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS OF LITTLE LIES:
Lots more success, continued happiness and growth. For anyone old or new, along for the ride, to just grab on with both hands and continue on with us as I'm certain we have SO MUCH MORE in store. The sky is the limit!

NAME:
Jade
JOB TITLE:
Co-Founder & Creative Director
STAR SIGN:

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU:
After nursery drop off it's usually coffee at my desk and getting caught up on emails - lots comes in from factories overnight so I tend to check through to see what's needed from me urgently first before moving on to my to-do list. My daily tasks change all the time and no two days, weeks or months are the same - but a regular week would cover things like running fit sessions for new products, selecting and editing images for product listings, reviewing sales data, building out product range plans, planning photoshoots, marketing strategy plans, digging through playlists for product names, liasing with factories on product development, and literally anything else that lands in my inbox!
FUN FACT ABOUT YOU:
I once taught Kings of Leon how to 'plank' and switched outfits with Jared Followill.
WHO'S YOUR FAVE BAND/ARTIST:
Led Zeppelin, always.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVE LITTLE LIES PIECE OF ALL TIME:
I don't think I can choose... it's been ten whole years of cool shit! But a few key things that are on permanent rotation in my wardrobe are the Heartbreaker and Rooms on Fire kimonos, plus all of our shirts. I live in jeans, a slouchy tee and one of the above pieces thrown on top.
DREAM CELEB PLACEMENT FOR LITTLE LIES:
I mean, I feel like after a decade it's about time we got the one and only Stevie Nicks to wear one of our pieces?!
WHAT'S A CUSTOMER COMMENT/REVIEW THAT'S ALWAYS STUCK WITH YOU:
Over the years we've had multiple women reach out to say that they felt they lost themselves after having children, but that in discovering Little Lies they've rediscovered their personal style and sense of self. Being able to be your authentic self is something that's so core to our brand - so hearing real life examples of this is always a very proud moment.
WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU'RE MANIFESTING IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS OF LITTLE LIES:
Still being in business! The retail landscape and economy in general has never been tougher - particularly for indie businesses, so the fact we've hit the milestone of a decade is something I'm incredibly proud of.
For the future though, I'd really love to get out in front of our customers - meet you guys in person, do pop up shops, events and styling sessions across the world!

JOB TITLE:
Co-Founder & Managing Director

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU:
After catching up with the team and having some morning caffeine while getting up to date on emails I’ll review sales performance and share reports, spend time working with suppliers, hold finance meetings and generally spend a lot of time in Excel - all while avoiding any content ‘opportunities’ Jess and Louise come up with before heading off for nursery pick up.
WHAT'S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT AT LITTLE LIES:
While in Italy writing my wedding speech the day before Jade and I got married, the website crashed completely and we had to rebuild from the ground up.
FUN FACT ABOUT YOU:
I’m actually a mechanical engineer… now working in the fashion world.
WHAT'S SOMETHING THAT YOU’RE CURRENTLY OBSESSED WITH:
My hair. I’m trying to grow it and it looks like a helmet.
WHO'S YOUR FAVE BAND:
The Black Keys
WHAT'S YOUR FAVE LITTLE LIES PIECE OF ALL TIME:
The Suzi Skull Kimono - it’s been a couple of years in the making which is special and a product I’ve been keen to make for a long time so I’m happy it’s finally here and has had such an incredible response.
DREAM COLLAB FOR LITTLE LIES:
The dream would be with somebody like Gibson guitars - linking music with fashion and the history of both is the whole idea behind little lies. And I’d get a guitar if we did that, right?
WHAT'S ONE THING YOU ALWAYS KEEP AT YOUR DESK:
In-case-of-emergency Grey Goose Vodka. (It’s still unopened!)
WHAT'S A CUSTOMER REVIEW THAT'S ALWAYS STUCK WITH YOU:
Reviews are something I really pay attention to as a source of feedback to create positive action from. We get a lot and there’s not one single review that I can mention, but the consistent message is the overall excitement about the brand and how our clothing makes people feel. From people who have lost their way with their personal style to women who have worn our pieces on their wedding day - it’s why we do what we do.

Jess
JOB TITLE:
Creative Marketing Executive
STAR SIGN:

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU:
Honestly? No two days ever look the same, and that’s exactly how I like it. One minute I’m on a shoot day, the next I’m knee-deep in editing content or whipping up graphics for the site and ads. I spend most of my time split between creating, collaborating, and generally running off of caffeine and chaos. It’s all super creative, so it kinda feels like I’m just playing dress-up and mood-boarding for a living… which is basically what I’ve been dreaming of since I was 13. I get to jump between so many parts of the brand, that it feels less like work and more like some kind of rock 'n roll fever dream I accidentally manifested!
WHAT'S YOUR COFFEE ORDER:
Oatmilk iced latte with an extra shot of espresso & maple syrup. Yes I'm aware that it's unhinged, but I'm an American, and grew up on Tim Hortons maple iced fraps, and it has ruined me.
WHO'S YOUR ICON:
It’s gotta be Bowie. One of the first songs I learned on guitar was Space Oddity, and it unlocked a lifelong obsession. Whether it was rewatching Labyrinth for the hundredth time or wearing out my Ziggy vinyl, he’s always been that north star.
I love the way he blurred the lines between pop culture, fashion, drag and pure rock ‘n roll. The platform Terry de Havillands... The kimonos... The stage makeup... It was all so bold but still rooted in his love for music and creating art. He taught me that self expression should be loud, weird, and unapologetically you.
FAVOURITE/GIG OR FESTIVAL LINEUP:
Isle of Wight Festival 2016 takes the cake, no question. That weekend was MAGIC. I got to see Queen (with Adam Lambert) and The Who in one go, which is already enough to knock me on my ass… but it was the atmosphere that made it completely unforgettable.
When Brian May spoke about Bowie and Freddie before launching into Under Pressure, cue floods of tears. On the Sunday night, listening to The Who play Love Reign O’er Me rewired my brain.
MOST PLAYED SONG RIGHT NOW:
Currently rinsing U Should Not Be Doing That by Amyl and the Sniffers. Female-fronted Aussie punk, and I can't get enough. It’s my 'walking-to-work-like-a-bitch' track.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVE LITTLE LIES PIECE OF ALL TIME:
I couldn't possibly just pick one, but I do think I own every pair of Hendrix Flares we've ever made. They are all my go to's on the daily. Feels like jammies, but looks like you've made an effort is my pre-requisite for clothes!
WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU'RE MANIFESTING IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS OF LITTLE LIES:
I see a big ol’ Little Lies tour bus on the horizon... popping up at festivals, slinging kimonos and letting you twirl your way through the weekend. But the real dream? Another decade of helping people find their style, their spark, and pieces they’ll be wearing for years to come!

Louise

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU:
A mix of planning, building out content and collaborating with the team. I love that my role blends creativity with strategy, every day is different!
MOST PLAYED SONG RIGHT NOW?
Tied between Rein Me In by Sam Fender & Olivia Dean and Olivia Rodrigo & Robert Smith at Glastonbury, can’t stop listening.
FAVOURITE/GIG OR FESTIVAL LINEUP:
The 1975, I have seen them a few times but their "Still... At Their Very Best" tour was my favourite. Anything Matty Healy and I love.
WHAT'S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT WORKING WITH LITTLE LIES:
My first shoot day was the same day I found out I’d got my uni degree, so it felt extra special. Oh, and obviously, the Taylor Swift moment was iconic!
WHAT'S YOUR FAVE LITTLE LIES PIECE OF ALL TIME:
The Marianne Crochet Maxi, it’s timeless and so versatile, a holiday staple for me!
DREAM COLLAB FOR LITTLE LIES:
Daisy Jones & The Six finally doing their cancelled tour, with Little Lies styling the looks. (and we get to go on tour with them)
WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU'RE MANIFESTING IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS OF LITTLE LIES?
I’d love to see Little Lies host its own festival one day, a real-life celebration bringing our amazing community together. It would be incredible to combine the music and fashion we all love in one.

NAME:
Elsa
JOB TITLE:
Emotional Support Dog
STAR SIGN:
Scorpio
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU:
I start the day strong- greeting the team (demanding attention), then it’s straight to checking snack inventory in my desk drawer. Post quality control, it’s nap time to recharge for walkies and lunch. I round off the day with emotional support duties, mandatory cuddle breaks and snack-sharing sessions. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it.
WHO'S YOUR STYLE ICON:
Cocoa the Tour Dog, she's 15 and living her best life every night on stage with rockstars... My idol!
WHO'S YOUR FAVE BAND/ARTIST:
Mum always says my dad is a good singer.... (Harry Styles)
WHAT'S ONE THING YOU ALWAYS KEEP AT YOUR DESK:
ALLL the snacks.
We might be small in numbers, but we’re big on passion, ideas, and having a good laugh while doing the work we love. Every single person on this team brings a little something special to the table - and we’re all so stoked to keep rolling out our 10th birthday celebrations and growing this badass community of music lovers, vintage dreamers, and style icons-in-the-making.
Here’s to the next 10… and to all of you for being part of it.
Big love,
Team Little Lies 🖤
